Competencies

The Director of Special Education Licensure requires demonstrating competency in the sixteen areas listed in the menu on the left.  Each of the sixteen competencies has unique and specific components contributing to developing deep and far-reaching capacity as a leader in Special Education.  Competency is developed in multiple ways and expressed through a variety of evidence provided as reflections and artifacts under each of the sixteen categories of Special Educaiton leadership.
